Opportunity
Leading new customer implementations in the area with a medium/ high complexity level, business scale and impact. Bridging the sales and operational activities to ensure smooth transition of new or additional business into the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Deliver complex, large scale implementations for new/ additional businesses.
- Maintain and develop Maersk implementation framework which covers project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling and closing stages.
- Create and deepen customer loyalty through the establishment and execution of high-quality implementations.
- Successfully “close” implementations based on mutually defined criteria between Maersk and the client.
Customer Focus
- Working closely with commercial team to ensure solutions are in line with operation capabilities and capacity.
- Maintain good relationship with all suppliers, carriers and parties related to support company development and smooth execution to service delivery
- Ensure all operational issues are addressed to the client and account team. Lead internal and external discussions to identify risks and remove roadblocks to meet timelines and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain customer confidence on our service.
Operations
- Ensure infrastructure for new client solutions are in place: recruitment and training, SOPs, IOPs, IT & EDI integration, client and vendor training, KPI reporting.
- Proactively manage delivery of other involved parties (IT, HR, WND, 3rd parties etc). Ensure operations are optimized and products are delivered under the highest service quality possible.
Financial
- Monitor volume, Gross Profit, CCM and FTE per account. Take corrective actions if falling short of forecast during implementation phase.
- Ensure credit policies and invoicing processes are properly set up.
Legal
- Ensure that contracts are always in place to govern all business relationships.
- Ensure a constant attention to the prevention of fraud, collusion, and nepotism in any elements of our business.
- Ensure security levels meet / exceed APM standards and those set by the US C-TPAT requirements.
We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics. Solid operational background in international supply chain is preferable.
- Proven experience in Country/ Area project implementations
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools
- Basic IT/ supply chain system understanding
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Proactiveness, customer-centric mindset and result-orientation
- Fluent in English both written and verbal communication
