Job Description:
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager, working with new business acquisition in Germany, to join our EU – Sales & Partnership team. You will join a team that is responsible for driving Zettle growth in Europe. You will have one more locally based colleague in Germany working for the same goal. In Germany PayPal have their office in Berlin but we are offering location flexibility.

As a Area Sales Manager, you will stimulate demand for Zettle products in targeted geographies and segments, by building, managing and leveraging a strong network and self-sourced pipeline of influential prospects.

The role requires high energy, the ability to adapt and a creative spirit. As a Area Sales Manager you are responsible for:

  • The end-to-end sales cycle, including identifying strategic new business opportunities to securing a deal within Germany.
  • Independently research, lead and track different projects to find market opportunities.
  • Consistently identify and qualify new prospects to build pipeline.
  • Create network by establishing relationships with existing customers in key geographic areas and segment.
  • Keeping an updated sales pipeline that is in line with your sales targets and report all sales activities in Salesforce.
  • Providing market insights for internal forums and cross team collaboration.
  • Produce and present monthly and quarterly forecast.

You are professional, organised and motivated as well as having the drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment. You have experience in sales/business development. We believe you are self-motivated and have the ability to take setbacks, learn, adapt and go again.
