Job Posting Details:

The HKUST MBA Program Office is searching for a capable, adaptive and self-motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Manager in the Marketing & Admissions team. The appointee will take the lead in recruiting candidates and maximizing the program awareness in international market to attract top MBA candidates globally. He/She will focus on the following key areas:

  • Digital Marketing and Programs Promotion: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to raise positive awareness and preference of the HKUST MBA Programs.
  • Talent Recruitment: Represent the School in events; attract and build connections with high quality potential candidates for the MBA Programs; conduct personal consultations and convert the potential candidates into applicants.
  • Candidates Retention & Expectation Setting: Yield and retain high quality admitted candidates; act as the dedicated admissions advisor and manage candidates’ expectations during the pre-enrolment stage; guide and assist admitted candidates during the admissions onboarding process.
  • Admissions Administration: Handle admissions-related enquiries, take the lead in the entire admissions process and manage the logistics including handling application documents; arranging application interviews; coordinating with university’s registry; and handling admissions offers.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in digital marketing or program admissions, and have a good understanding of the needs and trends of higher education in both international and China markets. He/She should have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. An excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin), and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM are required. Occasional travel and working outside office hours including occasional weekends will be expected. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
