Within the Communications and Recruitment Directorate, we support student recruitment and admissions by providing prospective students and applicants with all the information they need to make an informed choice. Our role is to also champion the University brand and enhance its reputation with our stakeholders and partners across the UK and overseas.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Content Team Manager to lead a team of content creators across design, video, imagery, and storytelling. Sitting within the Marketing and Communications team, you’ll lead a team of seven across these various disciplines to deliver content for internal clients across the university. This will directly support the university’s strategic plan, mission, and values which have set the goal for Greenwich to be the best modern university in the UK by 2030.

You will develop and deliver a broad content strategy that resonates with our prospective student audiences, their influencers, and corporate stakeholders. This post is also the functional owner of our brand management system and is required to champion the rollout of our university-wide brand refresh alongside the ongoing development of systems and training. Understanding the needs of users and delivering content that is current and fit for purpose is a key part of the role.

You will have strong project management skills that will aid the team in producing high-quality work on brief and on time. You will be adept at stakeholder management and be able to manage complex workflows across multiple clients. Your knowledge of content production will allow you to bring forward innovative new ways to host, streamline and deliver content. Having your own digital content production skills is also highly desirable.
