About the position:

Ignite is seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Communications Manager to drive corporate communications as part of our External Relations initiatives and to collaborate with the Marketing team. We are looking for a candidate who can align our corporate messages with our technical messages to grow the profile of the company with business and investor audiences. The Corporate Communications Manager must be agile and reactive, with a willingness to multi-task and wear many hats when necessary. Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills and a penchant for storytelling, the Corporate Communications Manager will support the Director of External Relations in bringing the Ignite brand messaging to life across the business, trade and blockchain industries.

What you will be doing

  • Develop corporate communications strategy aimed to amplify Ignite’s brand value, corporate messaging and reputation as a leader in the blockchain space.
  • Lead and execute corporate communications initiatives including thought leadership opportunities, award submissions and employer branding.
  • Craft messaging, story arcs and all forms of content for corporate communications channels including social media, corporate presentations, website.
  • Contribute as subject matter expert on Ignite’s work impact on the business landscape.
  • Work on cross-functional projects that can transform into corporate communications tactics and increase our brand equity.
  • Keep up to date with latest news, trends and campaigns in related sectors and create communications tactics as relevant to the strategy.
  • Coordinate development of creative assets for external communications.
  • Be a corporate brand steward and ensure brand guidelines are adhered to externally and internally.
  • Prepare speeches and messaging for the CEO and other C-level executives as necessary for speaking engagements.
  • Provide support for PR projects and media inquiries, thought leadership and investor relations initiatives as needed.

We’re looking for someone that has

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or related fields.
  • Exceptional corporate communications writing skills in English.
  • Minimum 4 – 5 years corporate communications experience with a solid portfolio of work
  • Experience with social media management and content creation (especially LinkedIn and Twitter)
  • Exceptional intrapersonal skills with external stakeholders and senior management
  • Ability to work independently (and optimally in a remote environment) and with a team to meet deadlines in excellence
  • Ability to take ownership of your work and maneuver a steep learning curve
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • A detail-oriented mind-set and yet able to see the big picture and make decisions that achieve objectives
  • Keen interest in blockchain and crypto with a strong belief in the positive global impact they can accomplish

Nice to have

  • Fluency in another language
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the blockchain and crypto industry
  • Knowledge of sustainability and/or ESG
  • Working knowledge of any creative programs
