About the role

As Customer Service Officer, you will be the face of the branch. Historically referred to as Bank Teller, our Customer Service Officers are leading the way with our unique philosophy.

You will be given the support you need to do what you do best – listening to customers and using your skills to help them with transactions, provide education on our online platforms and tools, recommend the banks products and services, and assist our customers achieve their financial goals.

We are looking to fill a Ongoing Full-time Customer Service Officer position at  Community Bank Portarlington and Drysdale. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight.

These are genuine opportunities to work with a fantastic tight knit team with great culture. You will receive ample training and support to really grow and develop your skills in banking and be given genuine opportunities for progression. We have also recently opened our brand new contemporary Drysdale location which we just know you will love working out of.

About you

You will bring:

  • Extensive experience in a customer service environment
  • An ability to confidently talk to customers face-to-face and over the telephone
  • An eagerness to understand and share with others what makes our bank different
  • Experience in the banking and finance industry and/or sales- a plus but certainly not essential
