About the role
This role will support the UK Early Careers (EC) recruitment programmes. All members of the EC recruitment team are involved in all elements of the recruitment cycle but this role will have specific responsibilities for EC’s attraction, selection and programme management.
You will operate in the schools and graduate markets, building strong relationships with careers services, as well as leading UK partnerships who specialise in student recruitment. A key part of your role will be delivering market leading events and coming up with innovative ways to reach Generation Z in the hybrid world. The landscape has evolved since the pandemic and so innovative thinking, trialling new ideas to differentiate the firm will be key. Additionally, diversity and social justice must be at the forefront of our thinking, so this lens will be key when designing outreach.
You will also be a key player when designing and implementing the selection process, ensuring it is fit for purpose, inclusive and commercially focused and allows us to attract the best early careers talent. You will be involved in running assessment centres and insight days. The role will also plan and deliver cyclical work experience and EC programmes ensuring they are maximising the ability to hire top talent from these programmes.
As well as being actively involved in developing our CR&I activities and developing university relationships at key universities. This involves the annual recruitment of approximately 80 vacation scheme students (in London, Newcastle, Manchester and Scotland) and approximately 60 trainee solicitors, as well as an increasing number of school leavers.
The role will report into the EC Recruitment Manager and will be supported by our EC co-ordinators.
The team works closely with our EC Development team, our CR&I team and as well as our marketing and communications team, key stakeholders from the business including our Training Principal and HR Partners.
