The eCommerce Product Manager works with business and technical teams, while maintaining a strong customer-centric approach, to build and execute on the roadmap to build, enhance and maintain digital and eCommerce platforms and technologies at Giant Tiger.  Reporting directly to the Head of Product Management, this position primary focuses on providing technical and business guidance, vision for the long term execution of the functional area while developing scalable solutions designed to meet business goals.

eCommerce Product Manager Role Highlights:

  • The eCommerce Product Manager for Onsite Search and Recommendations plays a vital role in improving and optimizing the customer’s shopping journey on Giant Tiger’s digital channels.

  • This position plays a leadership role in bringing AI/ML and other advanced technologies to life while solving customer pain-points and achieving business objectives.

  • The Product Manager will coordinate with Merchandising and Product Content operations teams to improve product findability on the ecommerce funnel.

  • This role will also work closely with data platforms, analytics and CX teams to identify opportunities, prioritizing the right problems and implementing the most viable solutions with the UX/UI and technology partners.

  • The eCommerce Product Manager will be responsible for planning, development, integration, optimization, migrations, deployments, and maintenance of the critical systems while supporting the long-term execution and maturation of the product roadmap —a highly cross-functional member of the management team leveraging input from all areas of the organization.

eCommerce Product Manager Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or Science

  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce

  • 2 + years in Product Management

  • 1+ years of experience in digital product analytics

  • Experience in both Agile and Scrum as a Product Owner

  • Previous experience building, planning,  and managing a product roadmap

  • Some travel required
