The eCommerce Product Manager – Loyalty and Community works with business and technical teams, while maintaining a strong customer-centric approach, to build and execute on the roadmap to build, enhance and maintain digital and eCommerce platforms and technologies at Giant Tiger.  Reporting directly to the Head of Product Management, this position primary focuses on providing technical and business guidance, vision for the long term execution of the functional area while developing scalable solutions designed to meet business goals.

eCommerce Product Manager – Loyalty and Community; Key Responsibilities

  • The Product Manager plays a vital role in acquiring and improving the experience of Giant Tiger’s loyalty program (GT VIP) members across digital and retail channels.

  • This person will also be responsible for building technology solutions that brings various aspects of Community and customers’ social interactions with the brand to our online channels.

  • This position plays the role of a technology-driven innovator working across multiple business stakeholders and initiatives.

  • The Product Manager will coordinate with Marketing, Loyalty and Retail operations teams to enhance various tenets of the loyalty program and retail communities.

  • This role will also work closely with other product managers, data, analytics and CX teams to identify opportunities, prioritizing the right problems and implementing the most viable solutions within their portfolio.

  • The Product Manager will be responsible for planning, development, integration, optimization, migrations, deployments, and maintenance of the critical systems while supporting the long-term execution and maturation of the product roadmap.

eCommerce Product Manager – Loyalty and Community; Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce or Science

  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce

  • 2+ years in Product Management

  • 1+ years of experience in digital product analytics

  • Experience building digital products for loyalty, community and social programs.

  • Experience in both Agile and Scrum as a Product Owner

  • Previous experience building, planning,  and managing a product roadmap

  • Some travel required
