The eCommerce Product Manager – MarTech works with business and technical teams, while maintaining a strong customer-centric approach, to build and execute on the roadmap to build, enhance and maintain digital and eCommerce platforms and technologies at Giant Tiger.  Reporting directly to the Head of Product Management, this position primary focuses on providing technical and business guidance, vision for the long term execution of the functional area while developing scalable solutions designed to meet business goals.

eCommerce Product Manager – MarTech; Key Responsibilities

  • The eCommerce Product Manager – MarTech plays a vital role in improving and optimizing various customer touch points for Giant Tiger customers; including emails, push notifications, CRM-managed calls, chats etc.

  • This position plays a leadership role in bringing data-driven marketing technologies to life by working closely with Customer Data Platform (CDP), Email Service Provider (ESP), AdTech and Recommender systems used at Giant Tiger.

  • The eCommerce Product Manager – MarTech will coordinate with Digital Marketing, Site Operations, Merchandising and Data Analytics teams to provide a personalized and customized experience across all above customer touch points.

  • This person will also work closely with other product managers, analytics and CX teams to identify opportunities within the ecommerce purchase path; prioritize the right problems and implement the most viable solutions to drive site traffic and conversion.

  • The eCommerce Product Manager – MarTech will be responsible for planning, development, integration, optimization, migrations, deployments, and maintenance of the critical business systems while supporting the long-term execution and maturation of their product roadmap —a highly cross-functional member of the management team leveraging input from all areas of the organization.

eCommerce Product Manager – MarTech; Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce or Science

  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce

  • 2+ years in Product Management

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing technologies like CRM, ESP etc.

  • 1+ years of experience in digital product analytics

  • Experience in both Agile and Scrum as a Product Owner

  • Previous experience building, planning,  and managing a product roadmap

  • Some travel required
