TIBCO Software Inc. is seeking an Innovation Engineer to join our team. Based in Indonesia and reporting into the Office of the CTO, your mission is to drive the adoption and development of strategic, new, and emerging products and technologies.

• We are open to hiring someone to be based in Jakarta / Hanoi.

What You’ll Do

Your roles and responsibilities will take many forms, but not limited to the following:

• Provide specialised Data science capabilities ie. data mining and statistical analysis , Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
• Understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation and have excellent pattern recognition and predictive modelling skills
• Provide specialized product/technical support for the development of opportunities and implementation of customer applications. Supported solutions may involve any one of the areas of Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning , AI, Graph technologies and Cloud Computing.
• Assist and enable sales staff in positioning the entire TIBCO stack to various levels of a customer organization (CxO levels, Architects groups and business lines), to meet customer requirements.
• Implement detailed customer requirements and owning or executing technical PoCs.
• Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications to service personnel, company sales representatives, and customer’s employees.
• Responsible for technology transfer to other solution consultants within the assigned region, and for communication of feature recommendations, product direction, and customer requirements into Product Management and Development Engineering.
• Participate in special Engineering-Led programs and projects such as product advisory groups, beta and feedback programs, and innovation labs.
• Assist in global and regional marketing events, and deliver outstanding presentations on technical or business related-aspects of TIBCO’s products and technologies.

Who You Are

• Completion of Bachelors or Masters Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
• Python development experience in data mining, data visualization, data wrangling, statistical analysis, and machine learning
• Experience in data mining
• Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Spotfire/ SAS/ Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
• Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra) and keen business acumen
• Prior experience in the analysis and visualization of various data across industries
• Good-to-have skills that would give your application an edge:
  • Cloud and open-source technologies (i.e. Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
  • Machine Learning library and frameworks like Tensorflow
  • Data integration technologies like enterprise web messaging, API Management, Microservices
  • Cutting-edge technologies like Blockchain, IOT, Graphing technologies
