Overview:

In-country is a British education management company that was launched in 2016 and now has a team of forty-five people across Delhi, Mumbai, Lahore and the UK. We manage the South Asian student recruitment operations for multiple blue-chip international universities as well as work on creative and exciting projects for a host of others. Our New Delhi office is located in Lajpat Nagar.

In-country is looking to appoint a Junior Recruitment Officer to work as part of our dedicated team for our client, the University of Liverpool.

You will be representing a Russell Group University ranked in the top 200 universities in the world, with a legacy of over 140 years. Reports to: Country Manager for University of Liverpool at In-country

Based from: In-country University Hub, Lajpat Nagar Part One, New Delhi

Contract Type: Fixed Term – Two Years

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with schools, universities, agency partners and other key stakeholders in India.
  • Supporting and advising students and parents on the application journey and promoting the University of Liverpool as an excellent place to study
  • Contributing to the execution of In-country’s India based conversion strategy for the University of Liverpool – includes webinars, outbound telephone calls, emails and WhatsApp messaging
  • Support with data capture, ensuring the GDPR compliant transfer of data between India and the UK. Assist with enquiry funnelling, ensuring that leads gathered from events are appropriately followed up with an aim of converting from enquiry to application.
  • Producing and collating data to support intelligence reports
  • Report writing
  • Fieldwork and local travel to attend fairs and meet education agents, schools and other stakeholders
  • Administrating and content creation for email and other marketing campaigns

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • A recent graduate from a university in the UK preferably or from a top-tiered Indian institution and/or, one year of experience working in a marketing/sales, or international student recruitment role
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent use of English and Hindi in speaking and writing across diverse communication methods
  • Ability to communicate confidently across varied audiences, from students to parents, over various media channels
  • Highly personable
  • Confident in working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Creative and innovative thinking with problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and results oriented
  • IT literacy with the use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Willingness to travel (both within India and to the UK)
