BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB

This position acts as L&D Business Partner to all business units belonging to II-VI Vietnam to provide L&D related consultancy and learning solutions to address organization, business unit, department challenges and needs with specific focus on providing onboarding strategy, people management skills, interpersonal communication skills & employee retention and engagement resources to improve capability of employees in line with business plan objectives, business growth strategy and a fully engaged workforce.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifies, designs and facilitates L&D programs by using a comprehensive approach to learning and development needs analysis, training materials, learning activity organization, learning vendor management, course implementation, communication, assessment and data & reporting with LMS System.
  • Coordinates with Regional HRLT and CoE of Learning & OD to effectively launch Employee Engagement Survey following corporate schedule with effective communication strategy.
  • Drives Onboarding Program for new employees
  • Ensures all termination reason is identified and recorded in a systematic manger with a high reliability for further action plans.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, English, Organizational Psychology, Education, Teaching & Learning, etc., preferably in HR Management.
  • 3+ years of professional learning & development experience in the medium-sized multinational hi-tech manufacturing organization (light industry) of analyzing, designing and facilitating appropriate learning & development interventions.

SKILLS

  • High proficiency in both English and Vietnamese
  • Skilled at implementing and coordinating a full cycle of training process, from TNA, budgeting, implementation & delivery to evaluation, in support of company goals.
  • Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross-cultural, global-team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and the ability to comprehend and communicate at multiple levels within and outside the organization.
  • Excellent in MS Office & PowerPoint.
