Purpose of the position
We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Services Supply Chain division.
As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring all open deliveries, invoicing and customer service. You will also handle all logistics issues for customers in a dedicated region and will be in very close contact with central warehouses, multiple international logistics service providers, frontlines in the region as well as other supply chain teams.
This role could be based in our site in Stargard, Singapore or Shanghai and reports directly to Senior Manager, Logistics.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Supporting 3PL in organizing deliveries from Kalmar Central warehouses
- Preparing different transportation documents
- Handling also direct deliveries from suppliers, customer claims and returns.
- Active communication with our warehouse and logistics service partners
- Following up on open deliveries and deliveries in transit to ensure excellent on-time-delivery performance and customer service levels
- Supporting our customers in selected regions in all logistics issues.
- Looking for areas of improvement and solve problems for our customers
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor degree or similar, preferably specialised in Logistics/Supply Chain
- 1+ years of experience working in global logistics in a similar role
- Ideally you have used SAP in your previous positions.
- Experience using OTM is considered a great advantage
- Prior experience from global Spare parts / Service business is an asset
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues in tight schedules with a positive can-do attitude
- Customer service mindset
- Fluency in English – written and spoken
