The Mechanical engineer is responsible for checking and solving production machine to ensure the achievement of company goals.
Safety
– Ensure compliance with regulations on Safety – Health – Environment for all employees in Production Department, Contractors and Customers.
– Be responsible for training Employees, Contractors and Customers to understand and comply with the company’s regulations.
– Conduct annual risk assessment, plan to overcome and ensure risks under control.
– Perform Task Audit in accordance with the Company’s regulations.
– Analyze and plan to remedy and prevent Near miss – First Aid.
– Ensure the Maintenance department always implements good industrial hygiene and improves the working environment better and better.
Risk prevention
– Comply with regulations and requirements of Risk prevention according to Saint-Gobain Group standards.
– Comply with Vietnam’s fire protection regulations and related regulations of Saint-Gobain Group.
WCM
– Set up WCM Roadmap according to SGVN’s objectives.
– Implement Pillar Industrials Efficiency.
– Have good knowledge of improvement tools (5S, OPL, QK, SS, Tagging…)
– Implement innovative solutions aimed at reducing Maintenance costs such as: Labor Hour, Damage rate, Spare part inventory
Maintenance activity
– Plan preventive maintenance, ensure the machine always be safe condition, already be available for production activity.
– Analyze equipment’ failures to find the root cause. Reduce damage and prevent repeated breakdowns
– Be responsible for guiding the repair & operation for employees.
– Perform WOs by line manager’s order.
– Project management such as equipment installation, improvements
– Plan annual department’ KPI and budget for maintenance
Management system
ISO – ASTM
– Ensure compliance and maintain continuous improvement of ISO – ASTM systems.
– Coordinate with QC to resolve all Quality related issues and Quality Improvements.
Requirements
– College degree/ Bachelor degree, major is Mechanical or Mechatronic.
– English communicate skill.
– At least 3 years of experience working in a similar position, working experience in a continuous production plant.
– Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
– Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
– Good health and sense of honest, careful, enthusiastic and customer centric.
