Job Purpose

You will work alongside our Managing Director, to manage all marketing activity, pulling together the content planning, creation, and diary management of our existing third-party suppliers. Our goal is to bring more of the marketing activity in-house and therefore, this role offers the fantastic opportunity to grow and develop, gaining valuable experience, qualifications, and exposure to other areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

You must have excellent organisational skills and be able to work under pressure and to agreed deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication is essential

Co-ordinate all marketing activity, including relationships with third-party providers – SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, social media, website design, and content

Manage the marketing calendar including the manager’s diary

Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency

Collaborate on creative marketing solutions across our platforms and audiences

Helping build the personal brands of our team members (mainly on LinkedIn), helping create and post content from members of the team

Responsible for drafting monthly newsletter, pulling together content ready for approval

Must be proactive in creating interesting, entertaining, and engaging content that helps build the companies community

Ensuring that our brand is reflected well with all marketing, reflecting our culture and voice

Engaging with followers on our social media, making sure that there is a community feel and those who make comments or ask questions receive timely responses

Look to take over the drafting and content for our professional introducer’s newsletter (produced quarterly), building a network with B Corp companies, social media influencers, lawyers and accountants in London, and other financial planning firms and individuals Keeping up to date with technology changes, social shifts, and new social platforms

Qualifications

It’s more about your drive, ambition and most importantly your organisational and timekeeping skills Experience

  • Demonstrate confidence to engage in pulling all marketing activity together

Broad understanding of LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram social media channels Ability to write engaging content

  • Knowledge of Financial Services would be advantageous

Ideally using graphic design skills to help build assets to share on social media (In Design for example) Knowledge

Understanding of inbound and paid media technology platforms, such as Hubspot

  • Understanding of all Microsoft packages inc Sharepoint
  • Wordpress website design and content management
  • PPC, SEO, Google Analytics (preferred but not essential)

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication is essentialThe ability and confidence to work with individuals at all professional levels
