What you’ll learn & achieve:

As the Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in the rapid growth of Global Sources as you:

  • Work with marketing manager to plan and implement comprehensive show & exhibition content marketing plan and execute
  • Be responsible to maximize show traffic and achieve pre-registration and onsite attendee targets. Essentially covers but not limited to the following:
  • Compile marketing materials, including EDM, social media, digital, press release, website content, etc., to increase the attractiveness of the show to international and local buyers
  • Closely work with sales team/digital marketing/central marketing to achieve objective
  • Assist exhibitors to use online marketplace for promotion of target visitors, and provide the necessary training
  • Follow up and implement the cooperation with existing partners
  • Research and develop new partner to help invite more buyers
  • Other work assigned by leader
  • Invite local buying offices to the show, and maintain long-term & good relationship with them
  • Lead the onsite business matching promotion and preparation
  • Support the development of content & implementation of activities, through online platform and physical events, to build engagements between exhibitors & buyers pre-event and onsite

What makes you a great fit:

The ideal candidate will bring several qualities to the team, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above is required.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in an events marketing role or similar. International event exposure is an advantage.
  • Good team player and able to drive results through teamwork
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, Customer-centric orientation
  • Motivated problem solver
  • Have knowledge of PS, AI, H5 and HTML
  • Experience on social media skills, video platforms and website management etc.
  • Good in written English and Vietnamese
