Arches Design Studio is based in the Gold Coast, QLD who specialise in helping other Interior Designers complete their projects globally.
The role:
Arches Design Studio is looking for a Personal Assistant/HR Administrator to join the team for an immediate start. This will be on a casual basis with an opportunity to move to permanent employment. You will report directly to the Director.
You will:
Assist in payroll and approve timesheets
Organise the rosters
Ensure invoices are paid on time
Recruit new staff – advertising, interview, reference checks and inductions.
Ensure all HR policies, processes and procedures adhere to relevant legislation and are up to date.
First point of contact for all HR queries relating to HR Systems, processes, policies, and programs.
PA duties to the Director as required.
Ad hoc admin duties as required.
About You

Previous experience in a creative industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
Must have office management experience or a HR qualification.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple workflows and reliably meet required deadlines.
Strong time management and effective organisational skills, with the ability to think laterally, work under pressure and achieve work deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
