Due to an internal promotion, we are now actively recruiting a Sales Engineer, based in Auckland.
As a Sales Engineer your core function will be to sell and promote Schneider products, services and solutions throughout the designated sales territory.
You will own the territory and be entrusted to work flexibly in a way that will enable you to achieve success for your customers. This can involve a mix of work from home, work from our digitally sleek offices, work from customer site, work remotely and travel – you are 100% empowered.
Your Scope of Duties
- Maintain and service existing account
- Seek out new accounts for continual growth
- Report market feedback on customer and competitor activity
- Achieve individual targets of sales for allocated products/territory
- Follow up sales leads generated by marketing activity
- Uncover projects in the sales territory and lead the bids
- Provide customer and contacts information to ensure accuracy of a national customer database
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
What We Seek From You
- The ability to build effective relationships with key strategic partners; internal domain experts; internal key contacts and global peers
- A genuine focus on improving customer satisfaction and engagement
- A curious mind, with a love of continuous learning
- Self-management skills to effectively work remotely, autonomously and flexibly
- Commercial or Industrial Electrical industry experience preferred, but not essential, if you can pick up technical information quickly / with structured support
