Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in coding using either Java, C++ or Python.
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with troubleshooting in a technical support capacity.
  • Excellent customer-facing experience in project based work.
  • Ability to translate complex product and technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Networking and operating system skills.

About The Job

gTech’s Professional Services team takes a creative, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to provide foundational services and forward-looking business solutions to top advertiser and publisher customers. Through technical implementation, optimization, and key solutions, gTech Professional Services helps customers attain their business goals while building long-term capabilities.

In this role, you are an expert on delivering high quality technical solutions leveraging Google technologies. You will work with a range of Google Travel teams and strategic partners to incorporate a wide diversity of sustainability data and long-distance transportation options, including trains or buses, and combinations of multimodal travel methods. You will build a scalable data integration platform and services that will allow us to effectively share sustainability and transport data from multiple sources, enabling users to thrive and make the most informed decisions when planning and booking their travel.

  • Implement and support strategic partner content on-boarding and technical projects, including coding and integration with third-party industry solutions.
  • Drive initiatives to improve partner data quality and scale technical projects and processes to be able to amplify the scope of integrations and build efficiencies to provide travelers with the most useful information.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives, collaborating effectively with teams like Product Management or Engineering, and aligning scaled partner services with product direction.
  • Build partner-facing tools and automation to increase the impact and supportability of our services.
  • Lead scaled technical engagement with partners to identify needs and develop their upcoming business solutions. Document and package solutions to promote service reuse.
