- Responsible for being a key driver and resource for all social wellbeing programs, including physical wellbeing spaces such as onsite food and beverage service, fitness centers, community gardens, and other on-campus amenities.
- Direct report to Social Wellbeing manager. Support a team of vendor partners and all related programming, reporting, and communications to promote a healthy work life culture and environment in alignment with Delta’s Wellbeing mission.
- Manage all vendor coordination to ensure seamless delivery of wellness programs within scope, including review of vendor communications, and monitor performance metrics as well as employee experience.
- Partner internally with other Delta areas such as safety, corporate real estate, BRG’s, Sustainability, and DE&I teams to guide strategy and coordinate events and communications.
- Develop content and review all domestic and global communications that articulate the value and increase engagement in on-site Social Wellbeing programs available to Delta employees.
- Manage, design, and implement policies and procedures that relate to employee wellbeing programs, specifically in the social wellbeing and onsite amenity space.
- Develop subject matter expertise to gain buy-in and drive accountability with divisional leadership for Wellbeing strategies and initiatives providing key updates in data reporting, communications, and project support.
- Manage, support, and nurture Wellbeing champions by overseeing the development of educational content, managing communication strategies, and supporting local social wellbeing initiatives.
- Manage design, access and performance of all wellness related intranet content while keeping all program documentation updated.
- Translate the Company’s strategic health and wellbeing goals into clearly defined and developed initiatives to impact the employee work life and social wellbeing experience.
- Track and report key performance metrics for wellness such as utilization of onsite amenities and onsite engagement.
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Health Promotion, Public Health, Psychology, Counselling or Mental Health, Business, Communications, Program Management, Change Management or Strategy or related field and at least 3 years of relevant required experience.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of employee wellness programming concepts, behavioral change and demonstrated strong project management skills are required.
- The Specialist – Social Wellbeing must exhibit exceptional teamwork and collaborative qualities.
- Requires excellent communication skills, including written, interpersonal and public speaking with the ability to connect and build meaningful relationships with all levels of the organization and external vendors.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and shift priorities to meet deadlines.
- Must possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in project management tools and applications a plus.
- Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
- Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. PMP certification preferred. Experience in vendor management preferred.
