Visa’s Global Technology Talent Acquisition team is focused on delivering best-in-class sourcing strategies and services to our Technology organization. The Technology organization at Visa is a key, strategic pillar to Visa’s growth and operational strategy, in the way that we build, manage, support, and productize global payment technology and are solving massive, complex technical problems at significant scale. We are hiring a Technical Sourcing Manager, who will be responsible for executing the technology sourcing strategy across India, Singapore and other parts of AP for a variety of technical roles. This new position will be best suited to someone who is passionate towards sourcing and is an inclusive leader with experience in both Sourcing & Recruiting. The ability to collaborate in a fast-paced business across multiple teams & leaders, build and manage a high performing technical sourcing team and deliver talent to SW engineering and broader technology talent pipelining is critical.
What will a Technical Sourcing Manager do at Visa ?
- Build, lead, and develop a high performing Technical Sourcing team
- Inspire and develop members of the team, both internal team members and external consultants
- Collaborate with recruiting leadership, strategy team, recruiters, and hiring managers to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies, aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals.
- Identify potential candidates through the use of creative sourcing methods, beyond LinkedIn Recruiter, including Boolean, x-ray searching, competitive mapping, etc.
- Develop diversity sourcing strategies and drive adoption and goal congruence around Visa’s Inclusion and Diversity goals
- Translate diversity sourcing strategies into candidate development strategies.
- Drive deep partnerships with the business including understanding business priorities, technology roadmap, etc.
- Provide exceptional hiring manager and candidate experiences.
- Develop, monitor, and utilize strategic KPIs
- Lead Execution of strategic projects
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years recruiting or sourcing experience for a search firm/or in-house talent acquisition team.
- A minimum of 2 years people leadership experience.
- Deep knowledge of sourcing methodologies and tools.
- Experience sourcing technical talent required.
- Exceptional interviewing, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring and training team members
- Strong business acumen to be able to comprehend business needs and structure.
- Ability to prioritize multiple functions, tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast paced, changing work environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, business partners and candidates.
- Team player and positive attitudes are a must.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, an ability to multitask, strong attention to detail and be able to work autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience sourcing at scale via hiring events, continuous pipelining projects, and other methods.
- Experience sourcing for niche roles in a just in time manner.
- Knowledge of competitive market mapping and Talent Market research.
- Experience training team members.
