Core Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition
- With right knowledge of local market, set Talent strategy for the new site.
- Monitor recruitment demand through regular check-ins with P&O colleagues and business leaders.
- Manage end-to-end process for both salaried and hourly recruitment, including contact with hiring leaders, screening & selection, interviews (in-person, phone and video), offer proposal and candidate follow–up & feedback.
- Partner with stakeholders to define the most appropriate recruiting strategy based on the specific role and business needs, clearly communicate the process, and manage hiring leader and candidate’s expectations.
- Ensure successful onboarding experience for the new hires in close collaboration with other internal functions (e.g. Facilities, IT, HR Services, etc.) and external service provider.
- Talent Attraction
- Work with Global Talent Acquisition team to define and implement relevant Employer Branding initiatives for the new site.
- Establish long-term relationship with local universities and colleges.
- Work hand-in-hand with local leadership team and P&O colleagues to best support business from people perspective.
- Collaborate with global and/or other regions’ Talent team to support the broad Talent agenda, e.g. HR system, employer branding, learning & culture, etc.
- Ad-hoc tasks, including but not limited to recruitment demand/capacity planning, recruitment Visual Factory, Diversity & Inclusion.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven record on leading end-to-end manufacturing recruitment and collaborating with leaders from diverse function and culture background.
- High learning agility to understand and assess people from different cultures.
- Used to recruit through LinkedIn, Seek and other recruitment platforms.
- Ability to identify the most appropriate recruitment channel(s) for each recruitment and develop new ones when it’s necessary.
- Willingness to learn something new and navigate with ambiguity.
- Experience with start-up entities is highly preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; can quickly build trust and credibility with others.
- Structured mind, autonomous, self-driven and comfortable with remote leadership.
- Experience in other HR functions is highly preferred
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English
