We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Trainer who can join us! Using his or her technical training experience and skill sets to continue to drive innovative training practices. We are seeking a passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic, and excellent communicator to develop and execute Alleviate’s training framework. To excel in this role, have the ability to learn and grasp the UI/UX of the company’s critical applications and cybersecurity best practices fairly easily (e.g., including but not limited to CRM, phone systems, Office, and security policies). Foster relationships with staff across departments and be motivated to continuously achieve positive training results. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on our IT Systems operations’ day-to-day efficiency and an ongoing effect on our overall growth.
OBJECTIVES:Design, develop, implement, and evaluate technical training programsShorten the learning curve between the departments and technologyEvery employee knows the technology tools they need to be successful in their roleContinually improve on the technical training program ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Learn it, Love it, and Do it – Core Values and MissionGain intimate knowledge of critical business applications IT policies, and IT proceduresConduct a detailed training on critical business applications, policies, and proceduresDevise technical training programs according to organizational requirementsProduce training schedules and classroom agendaDetermine course content according to objectivesPrepare training material (presentations, worksheets, etc.)Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops, etc. in groups or individuallyArrange for and conduct on-site training when neededKeep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, etc.Observe and evaluate results of training programsDetermine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements Recording the attendance at and engagement in classesRecording attendance at and engagement in classesIdentify the role of computers in employees’ day-to-day workFormulate and distribute skills alignment tests to establish a baseline for each employeeDetecting common skills shortages and creating a training plan to address theseKeep abreast of industry best practices and policiesProvide recommendations to the CTO to improve the effectiveness and delivery of trainingPhysical ability to swap rack-mounted servers and UPS systemsCollaborate with other team members

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience normally required for competent performance)
Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business or similar field3+ years experience as a technical trainer, corporate trainer, or similar is required3+ years experience in the use of Learning Management System (LMS)3+ years experience in developing and executing on a training framework/processHands-on experience in CRM applications trainingHands-on experience in clod-based phone systems training
Licensures and CertificatesCertification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong asset
Skills and AbilitiesProven experience as technical trainerProven experience in cybersecurity trainingKnowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjectsExperience in designing technical course contentHands on experience in implementing an LMS platformAbility to address training needs with complete coursesWorking knowledge in MS Office (especially Powerpoint)Experience in CRM applications (Salesforce, ZOHO CRM, SugarCRM, or similar)Experience in cloud based phone systems (RingCentral, Nextiva, Vonage, DialPad, Five9, or similar)Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowdsExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesDegree in a relevant technical fieldResults-driven and able to handle multiple projectsStrong interpersonal and time-management skillsExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly languageHighly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detailAble to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentStrong customer service orientationAbility to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentPassion for IT and learning new skills
Preferred QualificationsA Master’s Degree may be preferred.Debt settlement or financial industry background a plus
