The NSW Nationals is looking for a self-starter to assist our political team in data-driven campaigning.

The Role
This position is responsible for:
- Becoming our ‘in-house expert’ in the use, management and ongoing development of our customer relationship management tool, Voter.ID
- Understanding and interpreting data sets through polling and identifying our target markets for campaigns
- In conjunction with our Information Technology contractor, ensuring compliance with best-practice cyber-security
- Implementation of other technology-based campaign techniques, including development of platforms to integrate with Voter.ID
- Delivery of training to staff on the capability and best practice use of Voter.ID and other campaign tools
- Managing email, text message and other campaign technology
- Assisting in the delivery of election campaigns
- Other projects as requested or approved by the State Director
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience with database management, political campaigning or digital marketing
- Demonstrated understanding of data-driven campaigning
- Tertiary qualification in political science, communications, data science or similar field
- An understanding of regional NSW
- Experience in at least two recent political campaigns is desirable
