TRAVEL ADVISOR ASSISTANT DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate is a smart, super-organized, intuitive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced forward-thinking environment. This candidate shares our passion and belief that travel is a source of inspiration, renewal, and joy. Responsibilities include building itineraries, crafting emails, arranging concierge services, corresponding with suppliers, and building relationships with our trusted supplier network and clientele. It is crucial for the candidate to be a team player and willing to provide support in all areas of the business. This is a unique opportunity to enter the high-end travel industry and work closely with a highly experienced team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow process’ and procedures to ensure an elevated client experience
- Research, recommend, and execute travel reservations with skill, ease, and confidence
- Correspond with partners and suppliers (hotels, operators & independent guides) to coordinate luxury travel arrangements
- Execute and arrange concierge services including but not limited to dining, entertainment & ground transportation reservations
- Create and keep client travel documents such as itineraries and invoices updated
- Enter data into CRM (account/client information, trip feedback, etc.)
- Reconfirm client itineraries before client departure
- Follow up with clients after travel to ensure a positive experience and long-lasting relationship
- Work with all potential and current clients, including but not limited to web, phone, referral, repeat etc..
- Attend virtual sessions on product, destination, and industry training
REQUIREMENTS:
- The flexible work schedule for remote work. Hybrid schedule
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in Sabre GDS not required but a plus
- International travel experience & extensive knowledge of world geography
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality background a plus
- Able to handle high-stress situations and remain calm
- Team player, able to work collaboratively and within groups
- Strong work ethic; someone who identifies opportunities to take on more
- Proactive and resourceful; an intuitive problem-solver
- Detail-oriented and excellent time-management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Positive attitude with a passion for travel
- Quick-learning, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
