Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in technology, consulting, investment banking, business strategy, product specialist, or product marketing.
  • Experience in go-to-market/commercialization or bringing products to market and product-market fit.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a creator and knowledge of YouTube Analytics and Creator Studio.
  • Experience in working across multiple teams and multiple time zones. Demonstated success in project management and execution, multi-tasking, and delegating.
  • Experience communicating with and influencing a range of audiences, including executives, to drive alignment on priorities. Excellent discussion skills and ability to influence others.
  • Understanding of the YouTube ecosystem (e.g., viewers, creators, advertisers) and products.
  • Investigative mindset, excellent strategic thinking, clear and concise communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent business judgment, problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

The Product & Partner Go-To-Market (PPG) team launches and lands new products, policies, and content strategies that make YouTube the world’s top destination for video. Our team of expert Product Specialists provides a unified voice for Product across several other key teams — including Surfaces & Apps, Content Creation & Engagement, Monetization, and Rights & Content Management — as well as the Partnership Enablement team, which brings product, policy, and content strategies to market via all the partner-facing teams across Google’s business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product teams to represent the user and shape product strategy, craft go-to-market plans, maximize growth, drive user satisfaction, adoption, and mitigate brand risk.
  • Provide strategic insights and lead continuous product and operational excellence efforts at YouTube, working closely with product and engineering teams.
  • Prioritize feedback/ideas based on robust data and build business cases in order to embed requests within product manager roadmaps.
  • Be a product expert and serve as a consultant for the business teams and be responsible for product knowledge dissemination in the organization.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Ads, Marketing, Public Relations, Support, and Partnerships teams to guarantee market readiness, communications, training, and support for launches. Manage technical issues from the field and provide guidance on resolution to partnership teams.
