VA Media is home to a global network of genre-based movie, TV and creator channels on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and other media platforms and specialises in social video monetisation, content creation and distribution.
Working within the Network team, you will be responsible for the effective management of a suite of YouTube channels and will use your expertise in content strategy, content creation, optimisation and community management to grow audiences and monetisation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day channel management activities across VA Media brands.
- Edit and optimise content for brands across platforms including thumbnail creation, SEO metadata, copywriting, playlist and community management.
- Manage and implement a content schedule for each brand.
- Provide insights (internal/external) on all key channel metrics, including competitor channels and content trends.
- Implement tentpole promotions relevant to each of the brands you manage.
- Using YouTube CMS, (dealing with daily disputes, appealed disputes, invalid references & ownership conflicts)
Qualifications/ Skills
- YouTube expertise (CMS, Video optimisation, metadata) is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A track record in understanding analytics data to gain insights for decision making and communicating insight with external and internal stakeholders.
- Software skills including Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Excel/Google Sheets
