Frequently asked questions

How is pricing calculated?
A flat rate per alumnus, per year: $0.25 for data only, $0.35 for data plus any one platform (AlumniPro, CourseAdvisor, or CareerAdvisor), $0.40 for data plus any two, or $0.44 for data plus all three. Volume discounts apply automatically from 100,000 alumni.
Is there a minimum order size?
Data-only has no minimum — you pay $0.25 per alumnus regardless of size. Platform tiers carry a Year 1 minimum: $10,000 for one platform, $15,000 for two, or $20,000 for all three. From Year 2, renewals are 50% off the Year 1 rate.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes. Organisations with 100,000–199,999 alumni receive 10% off; 200,000 or more receive 20% off. Discounts are applied automatically at the quote stage.
How often is the data updated?
Standard plans include an annual data refresh. Higher-touch and enterprise arrangements can include more frequent updates — ask your account manager about options.
Can Cturtle data be delivered directly into our CRM?
Yes. We support direct API integration with Raiser's Edge NXT and Blackbaud CRM, with more integrations coming soon. Data can also be delivered via CSV, JSON, or XML export to any system.
Is the data GDPR and privacy compliant?
Yes. Cturtle operates within applicable data privacy frameworks including GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, and other relevant legislation. All data is sourced from publicly available professional profiles.
Do you offer trials or pilots?
Yes, we offer pilot programs for qualifying organisations. A pilot allows you to evaluate data quality and platform fit before committing to a full engagement.
