Responsibilities:

Handle and manage event logistics and guest communication for major conferences, social catering and park events at Resort
Collaborate with different stakeholders, oversee and follow up on-site event and services arrangement to ensure the commitment to guests are delivered, and provide high quality guest services throughout the event
Attend inter and intra departmental meetings that relate to the event and services management
Provide solutions to operational challenges and to provide site inspection support
Connect with other operation teams on process and procedures set up, review, updates and execution relating to events servicing
Integrate product enhancements and marketing activities; keep up-to date on current market intelligence, industry best practices and standards

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree holder in related discipline
2 to 3 years of practical experience in event management
Experience with a luxury hotel / resort, with extensive knowledge in Hospitality Management, Resort Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage and Banquet Catering operations is preferred
Great team player with good interpersonal skills, communications and collaboration skills
Good organization skills and ability in handling multi-tasks
Good technical skills on event and rooms system and software usage (e.g. Opera, Delphi, meeting matrix), MS Office applications and Chinese typing
Strong spoken and written communication skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua preferred)
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Specialist role
