We’re backed by multiple prominent venture capital funds in the world and we are seeking an energetic, responsible Brand Partnerships Manager to join our growing organization.

Since our product launch in June 2020, we have partnered up with over 1,500 unique brands with over 100,000 products to bring them into Asian retail stores, and developed machine learning algorithms to connect retailers with brands that we guarantee will sell.

About this role

We are looking for a results-oriented sales and account management professional to work on expanding our existing brands globally. We are looking to acquire either Western brands or Japanese brands within our categories, ranging from Home & Living, Gourmet, Baby & Kids etc. You will be responsible for working with Sales Development Associates to book and close brand meetings, convince them to onboard with Peeba and start their wholesale online TODAY!

What you’ll do

  • Pitch and onboard brands from all over the world to expand their Asia business (Japanese speaker will have a focus on Japanese Brands)
  • Develop relationships with brands and create alignment with company goals
  • Work with a team of Sales Development Associates to identify right strategy to acquire brands
  • Find opportunities and ways for brands to grow and drive revenue on the platform
  • Communicate changes, updates, and product roadmaps to your brands
  • Synthesize and measure feedback and ideas brought to you from your accounts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to make brands successful (Design, Marketing, Customer Support, Product etc.)

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience either in sales/ account management/ business development
  • Native/ Fluent in Japanese or English
  • Passionate about building relationships, particularly helping brands expand across Asia
  • Cares about our customers and making them successful
  • Analytical and data driven – can define metrics and measure progress/ success
  • Excited to join and can operate in a fast-growth, high-potential environment
  • Candidates with less experience might be considered as Senior/ Account Executive
