The opportunity:

Our client is a Singapore headquartered Fintech operating regionally across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia and is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution under the Payment Services Act.

As a dynamic Business Development Executive, you’ll provide a world class client experience in order to acquire and retain users and help the company scale quickly. You have excellent communication skills and know how to resolve customer queries, pre-empt client needs and provide thoughtful support to convert leads to users, and drive continued engagement with existing customers. You’ll be the voice of the customer, responsible for working cross functionally with product to troubleshoot issues and challenge the status quo to continuously improve the company’s offering.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acquiring and onboarding users, growing revenue and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Conducting call outreaches to warm prospects, qualify the opportunity and convert them into customers efficiently.
  • Articulating the value proposition to the customer, setting up product demos to explain how to use the platform, and quickly resolving any customer enquiries.
  • Responding swiftly to enquiries regarding new customer payments or account set up.
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of the CRM system and ensuring 100% data integrity and usage of the system.
  • Working cross functionally with Sales, Operations, and Product Teams to question the status quo and continually improve customer experience, localising and streamlining operations, while staying compliant.
  • Understanding and adhering to risk and compliance guidelines strictly.
  • Driving new customer acquisition – achieve and exceed monthly targets.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Minimally 2 years of experience in sales, however, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply if you are driven and possess a strong hunter mentality in Sales.
  • Preferably, experience within fintech, banking, or cards.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset – always looking for business opportunities.
  • Superb people skills and relationship building abilities, passionate to meet customers’ needs.
  • Flexible and able to multitask, with excellent delivery of customer experience and the ability to work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
  • Team player – no politics!
