Marketing Coordinator


Job Description


The Marketing Team is responsible for effectively communicating and executing Belkin ANZ’s Go To Market Strategy. The Marketing Team are product and branding subject matter experts and strive to deliver the financial goals for the business as well as build the brand and excite the market. The Marketing Coordinator is involved in assisting the marketing team to create, manage and support all marketing, creative and web collateral elements essential for upcoming product and global launches.

This role collaborates with the Head of Marketing to develop and communicate key stories to all points of touch with consumers.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

Assistance to the ANZ Head of Marketing

  • Provide administrative & communication support
  • Coordinate departmental budgets, expenses and phone enquiries.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Marketing Assistance

  • Work with Product Management to translate product features and benefits into crisp, fact based and compelling value propositions and marketing messages, which can be leveraged by PR, and sales.
  • Ownership of marketing deliverables in NPI Tracker and creation of NPI Launch Packs.
  • Support digital marketing efforts with loading of best-in-class content, website activations and adhoc tasks
  • Distribute product samples to media outlets.
  • Collating, marking up changes and proofing artwork (PB, FAQ, manuals, and packaging)
  • Assist in creating and maintaining sales tool kits and retail handbooks.
  • Identify and recommend new product concepts through market research and end user study. Closely monitor industry trend, competitive landscape, and opportunities to drive growth.
  • Responsible for reporting and communicating status of projects, including updates to key stakeholders of the business.
  • Assist with the events, trade shows, PR launches and new product launches.
  • Assist with Merchandising and POS Development to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Execution and rollout of approved marketing plans.
  • Work closely with external PR agency to ensure the team is informed on new products and any necessary business updates, sample management, influencer program and general enquiries.
  • Identify and recommend new marketing, PR and social media tools and concepts through market research and end user study. Closely monitor industry trend, competitive landscape, and opportunities to drive growth.
  • End to end support of both internal and external event execution

Internal support

  • Act as an escalation point to Customer Care and Technical support for product related enquiries.
  • Support Sales by providing product information and collaterals as required.
  • Provide information and feedback as requested by Global and Regional marketing.
  • Participate in regional and global conference calls as required.
  • Support operational and demand planning initiatives.

Skills And Experience

  • Commencement or Completion of a Marketing qualification or similar discipline.
  • Proven communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with MAC, PC and all MS Office suite products required.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Consumer Electronics industry experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding time management ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to take directions.
  • Team player and able to cope well under pressure.
  • Effective multitasker.
