We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and client-focused Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

This is a term position: 12 Month Contract

The Marketing Coordinator will play an essential role in the day-to-day operations of MD Financial Management’s marketing team. With exposure to everything from digital marketing campaigns and sponsorships to advisor marketing and new product launches, you will work behind the scenes to assist with the production, coordination and execution of a wide range of marketing activities and materials.

What You Will Do

Support the development, production and distribution of marketing materials

Navigate marketing assets through internal processes for reviews, approvals and translation

Ensure marketing materials are delivered on time and on strategy

Work with internal stakeholders to fulfill MD/Scotia’s partnership/sponsorship agreements

Collaborate with colleagues, both within and outside of marketing, as well as external agencies and vendors

Contribute to the evolution of process improvement within the team and department on an ongoing basis

Assist with other projects such as analytics reporting, conducting research and managing central mailboxes, as required

What You Need

University degree or community college diploma in marketing, communications, business administration or project management, or equivalent experience

Minimum Of 2 Years Of Relevant Work Experience

Working knowledge of French considered an asset

Financial industry knowledge an asset

Experience with web-based project management platforms (such as Workfront) considered an asset

Strong relationship management skills; interacts with others in a consultative, collaborative manner.

Ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner, forming strong relationships.

Superior attention to detail; proven problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Dependable, with the ability to multi-task and set priorities to deliver against tight deadlines; unanticipated requests from other areas and changing priorities; workload will fluctuate, and flexibility will be required to manage work effectively
