Enza Zaden is a vegetable breeding company that develops vegetable varieties. We have more than 2000 passionate colleagues worldwide working together on the vegetables of tomorrow. We produce and sell the seeds of these varieties all over the world for both conventional and organic growers.

For more than 80 years, we have been working with the best that nature offers and using state-of-the-art technologies in our breeding processes.

The results from our efforts are strong, healthy, tasty, and climate-proof vegetable varieties with higher yield per square meter and less need for crop protection products or fertilizer.

What will you do?

As the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing input and collaborating on our long-term regional plans and our medium-term strategic market plans (SMPs). You will also develop and execute our country-focused marketing plans for key crops/brands. Alongside our sales team, develop and execute our tactical plans.

We are in exciting times here at Enza since we are in the process of building up our marketing capabilities in North America. This means that there will be growth opportunities and opportunities to round off your skills by wearing many different hats.

What you bring to the table…

As the Marketing Specialist, you are a dynamic person who takes initiative and is flexible and pragmatic as well as detailed-oriented. You have excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. You can work independently and in cross-functional teams, you are able to manage projects/budgets efficiently, and you can create connections both with internal and external collaborators.

· Passion for agriculture and bringing innovations to market

· Entrepreneurial mindset, hunger for growth, and willingness to “roll up the sleeves”

· Bachelor’s Degree in business or a marketing-related major is required, MBA a plus

· 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience in the agricultural, food, and/or seed industry

· Ability to translate strategies and data into coherent marketing campaigns

· Experience in marketing and communication campaign building and execution

· Evaluate the performance of our marketing campaigns through evaluation of key metrics

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote), knowledge of Airtable and Marvia a plus.

· English and Spanish language skills are highly preferred

· Some domestic and international business travel required (25-30%).
