To support our global growth, our market research startup is seeking for a junior to mid-level Survey Programmer to take care of daily business with online market research projects globally. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of market research projects lifecycle; from questionnaire design to survey scripting, fieldwork and data processing/analytics.

About the role:

The role will be defined as ‘Survey Programmer’ reporting to the CEO.

The Survey Programmer’s primary role is to take over the full responsibility for the programming of the survey related to the Online Market Research projects.
This role requires to work closely with project managers, data processors, sales team and management.

Main responsibilities:

Programing of online questionnaires based on the information provided by the client/project manager (this includes survey creation, setting filters and quotas, managing languages, exporting and reporting);

Defining the details related to the survey programming, like plan, timeline, resource required and potential issues.

Test a survey thoroughly, review data and provide a high-quality link to the client in coordination with project managers.

Debug and correct coding issues.

Act as a consultant with project managers and clients to optimize programming of the online surveys for respondents.

So, who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone hungry who is a team player as well as being a self-starter who is confident/outgoing and able to adapt quickly to new challenges and provide inputs for helping company growth.

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications.

  • Experienced in working in the market research environment, programming and/ or web development. (Or University graduate in Computer Science, IT or related fields)
  • Able to comprehend and communicate in English well – 1 or more other language is a bonus
  • Familiarity with Jscript, XML and a language for dynamic web development.
  • Knowledgeable in SQL and Confirmit is an advantage
  • Willing and able to work flexible shifts
  • Experience with SPSS can be a plus

Moreover, we are looking for a person with:

  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects
  • Attention to detail, aiming for ‘error free’ programmed surveys
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Conditions:

Fixed Basic salary + commissions on sales + project management (commissions calculated as a % of project gross margin)

Yearly bonus on the anniversary of joining the TGM (full monthly salary)

Location: Anywhere remote from Europe

Working hours ~Flexible / Depending on candidate time zone and business priorities
